Stories of kayaks, teamwork and cabbage...
Everyone has woken up after a good nights sleep. Ms Edwards has told me that they are all having the best time and the children have been amazing.
Miss K gave me her Day 2 report:
We’ve had another action-packed and truly memorable day! Yesterday morning the children took to the water for kayaking, and what an experience it was. Everyone had the most amazing time – there was laughter, splashing, and plenty of smiles. These are the kinds of moments that will stay with them forever.
The afternoon was just as exciting, with groups taking on the giant swing (lots of squeals and bravery on show!), trying their hand at survival skills in the forest – building shelters and even showing off their fire-lighting skills. The teamwork, encouragement, and determination from the children has been wonderful to see.
One of the big highlights has also been the food! The children absolutely love it here – some have even said it’s the best they’ve ever had. Plates have been full, tummies even fuller, and many have gone back for seconds, thirds, or a trip to the salad bar. It’s safe to say no one is going hungry! Cabbage, of all things, is the new trend - Ms Edwards' challenge of trying new things went down well.
We ended the day with a cosy campfire, singing, stories and some courtyard time filled with team games and fun. Spirits are high, and it’s been a joy to watch the children embrace every part of this adventure.
