I heard from Miss Kyriakides at 6:47am this morning and all of the children were still asleep. She said they slept brilliantly and sent me this message:

"What a fantastic first day we’ve had! The children have thrown themselves into the adventure with climbing, aeroball, the matrix and the vertical challenge – showing amazing teamwork, courage and enthusiasm throughout.

Everyone has settled into their dorms brilliantly (with impressively tidy rooms!) and after a good night’s sleep, they’re ready and raring to go for today’s activities. This morning we’re looking forward to kayaking, along with more exciting challenges to come.

A wonderful start to our Year 6 residential – we’re so proud of them all!"
