Year 6 Residential – Day 1

Year 6 have arrived safely and are already having a fantastic time!

The journey over was really smooth and we were incredibly proud of the children throughout. Their behaviour was exceptional and they represented the school brilliantly. They have already done us, and all of you at home, very proud.

Once we arrived and got settled in, the children were straight into their first activities. So far, they have taken on Matrix, the Giant Swing and Archery, showing lots of bravery, teamwork, encouragement and enthusiasm along the way.

There have already been plenty of smiles and lots of children challenging themselves to try something new.

This evening, we still have more games, cabin organisation and a very well-earned dinner to look forward to, followed by Passport to the World.

It has been a brilliant start to the residential and we cannot wait to see what the rest of the week brings!
