A wonderful opportunity with The University of Chichester
Our Year 3 and 4 children were extremely lucky to have the opportunity to be a part of a symposium with four schools internationally - one in Tenerife, one in Poland and two in Switzerland (one French speaking and one German speaking).
The project was designed by some students from the University of Chichester who have spent time in the children's classrooms this week preparing their contributions. Oak prepared a song to share, Willow prepared some information about Kingsham, while Maple shared some things that were important to them about the school.
The children also learnt about the other schools and began to understand some of the similarities and differences of the schools in Tenerife, Poland and Switzerland. The teachers have said what a valuable experience it has been for the children to broaden their understanding of what schools and learning is like in other European countries. A huge thank you to everyone from The University of Chichester for making it happen for us.
