Primary schools across the county took take part in the Recycle It Right competition which is a free, fun, and easy way to boost recycling knowledge in the school community. Pupils completed the Recycle It Right quiz to earn points for our school and Kingsham successfully achieved first place! 

As winners of the 2025 competition, our school was lucky enough to receive the following prizes

• A Captain Busta Puppet Mascot
• An exciting celebration assembly hosted by West Sussex Wastebusters and representatives from the West Sussex Waste Partnership
• A Recycle It Right Schools Competition 2025 award certificate

• A hot bin for our school grounds

• A 2.5-hour session at the Materials Recycling Facility in Ford, Arundel, for up to 30 pupils aged 7+, including transport. On the 6th January, we will be taking the Green Gang from last year on this trip.

   

During our winners assembly our certificate was presented to us by Katy Newnham part of the Wastebusters team and Cabinet Member for Environment and Climate Change - Cllr Deborah Urquhart.
