We were delighted to be one of the twelve local schools who were invited to sing at the Sing 950 celebration on 6th November. There are numerous events throughout the year-long programme to celebrate 950 years of Chichester Cathedral. This one allowed the children to take centre stage to experience the joy of choral singing that covered nine centuries with the other local schools that were present.

 The children involved had a special session with Emily Barden in advance so they could prepare for the performance. This was no mean feat given that one of the songs was in Latin!

The sound within the cathedral was really special as it reverberated with their joyful singing. A huge thank you to the parents and carers who came to support the school and the event and to Ms Leslie and Mrs Hennessy for leading the organisation.

The children represented Kingsham beautifully and contributed admirably to such a historic event.
