The last report from Little Canada
The adults on the trip have been excitedly telling me about the adventures that the children have had. We expect the children back at school around 4pm. We will send email updates when we receive them from the team.
Here is Miss K's report of days 3 and 4....
What an incredible third day we’ve had – full of energy, adventure, and so many smiles!
The morning began on the water with dragon boat racing. The children threw themselves into the challenge, paddling in perfect time, cheering each other on, and showing brilliant teamwork. It was wonderful to see the excitement and friendly competition as the boats raced across the water.
From there, the adventure continued with a whole range of activities: soaring high on the trapeze, braving the giant swing, testing their coordination and energy with aeroball, and focusing their skills on the archery range. Many children surprised themselves with what they could achieve – the determination, encouragement, and confidence they’re showing is amazing.
The day also included time in the Matrix, where teamwork and problem-solving took centre stage, before finishing with a very special treat – a game of Ambush in the woods! Running, hiding, and working together under the trees brought plenty of laughter and a brilliant sense of fun to round off the evening.
It’s safe to say that by bedtime, everyone was ready for a good night’s sleep – and full of stories to tell about another unforgettable day here at Little Canada
Our last morning at Little Canada has been filled with sunshine, smiles, and plenty more adventure! The children have enjoyed a brilliant mix of activities, including laser tag battles, taking on the vertical challenge, and one last chance to soar on the trapeze. Even though energy levels are a little lower after such a busy week, the determination and enthusiasm are still shining through.
Everyone is still eating wonderfully – full tummies all round – and it’s clear the children have loved the food here just as much as the activities.
Now it’s time for a final lunch together before we board the coach and ferry for the journey home. The week has flown by, packed with laughter, courage, new experiences, and memories that will last a lifetime. We couldn’t be prouder of them all!
